I'm Shanea — Jamaican born, Canada based, and just a girl who decided she wanted more, then learned how to build it.

My business journey started in 2020 with no experience, no team, and no roadmap. Just big dreams and a willingness to figure it out. I started with lashes, moved into handbags, and eventually found my way into skincare and body care — and that's where everything changed.

I fell in love with creating body butters, scrubs, and oils. Not just because of the products themselves, but because of what they represented. Confidence. Femininity. That selfcare moment that makes you feel like that girl. I learned how to formulate, brand, launch and market — and I made plenty of mistakes along the way. I wasted money, felt confused, and had to figure things out step by step. But every lesson shaped what SOCIALLYNEA would eventually become.

The turning point came when women started asking me the same questions I once had:

"How do I make body butter? How do I start? What ingredients do I use? How do I sell online without feeling completely lost?"

That's when I realized — my journey wasn't just mine to keep. It was a blueprint someone else needed.

I was raised by a single mom, and that shaped everything about how I see strength, resilience, and independence. I know what it feels like to want more for yourself and your family. I know what it feels like to start from nothing and not have it all figured out. And I know what shifts inside a woman when she creates something of her own — when she makes her first sale, launches her first product, and realizes she is more capable than she ever believed.

That shift is what I'm here for.

SOCIALLYNEA exists to give women the blueprints I wish I had — clear, simple, and built from real experience, not just theory. Because empowerment isn't just a word to me. It means having options. It means building something that's yours.It means not waiting for someone else to create the opportunity.

When I'm not building, you'll find me romanticizing the life I once prayed for — good food, soft life moments, pretty packaging, traveling, and spending time with my family.
